A daily place for word and logic puzzles
Crux is a free iPhone and iPad app from Pizzart Pte. Ltd. with a ton of daily games in one place: word games, logic puzzles, number games, geography, trivia, colour games and quick arcade rounds. It shows no ads: no banners, no video ads, no pop-ups. Each game has one puzzle a day, and every player gets the same one. No account is needed to start. Linking Sign in with Apple or Google keeps progress if you change phones.
Begin with words
Room 5×6 asks you to find a five-letter word in six tries. Letter Swap gives you letters to trade until every row and column spells a word. Quartet gives you sixteen words to sort into four groups of four. Quick Crossword is a small crossword for a short break.
Or begin with logic
In Kings, place one crown in each row, column and region, with no two crowns touching. One Line asks for a single path through every cell, visiting the numbers in order. The Parcels cuts the grid into rectangles that match their numbers.
Then keep going
When you finish one, the others are still waiting: geography like Atlas Streak and Flag Streak, trivia, colour games and quick arcade rounds. Your streak grows each day you play, and you can compare results with friends (friends are off under 13).
