Questions
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings and tap Get my past unlocks back. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Eligible one-time unlocks and active subscriptions can be restored. Coin and gem packs were credited when you bought them and cannot be restored. Where Crux Plus is offered, its page also has Restore Purchases.
I was charged but nothing arrived.
First tap Get my past unlocks back in Settings. If it still has not arrived, copy the receipt id from Settings, Last transaction, and email it to us. We can check its status with Apple or Google and investigate missing entitlements.
How do I cancel Crux Plus?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not in the Crux app.
- iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Crux, then Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Crux, then Cancel subscription.
On Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period or trial ends. On Google Play, cancel before renewal under its displayed rules. Store policies govern charges and any remaining access. Deleting the app or your Crux account does not cancel the subscription; deleting the account can remove access to its benefits.
How do I get a refund?
For store purchases, Apple and Google process refunds under their policies, subject to applicable law. Purchases are generally final unless the law or store rules provide otherwise.
- Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose "Request a refund", and pick the Crux purchase.
- Google Play: go to your Google Play order history, find the Crux purchase, and choose "Request a refund" or "Report a problem".
If you were charged twice or something did not arrive, email us too. We can investigate the transaction and its entitlements.
How do I move my progress to a new phone?
On your old phone, open Settings and tap Sign in with Apple to link your account. On the new phone, install Crux, open Settings and tap Restore on this device, then sign in with the same account. If both phones have progress, you choose which to keep. Without a linked account, we may be unable to recover progress after a reinstall, device loss or reset. Sign in with Apple is available on supported Apple devices; cross-platform recovery may be limited.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings, scroll to Account & Privacy, tap Erase my account, then tap again to confirm. Your existing account is disabled and its direct identifiers are cleared. Account records covered by the scheduled hard-delete process are scheduled for deletion within 30 days. Some information may remain for legal, security, fraud or dispute purposes, or under providers' own retention schedules; see the Privacy Policy. If you want a copy first, tap Send me a copy of my data before you erase.
If you cannot open the app, email support@pizzartgames.com with your account id, or from the email address linked through Sign in with Apple, so we can verify your request and help with deletion.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Crux Plus subscription. Cancel it first (see above). The Privacy Policy lists what we keep after deletion and why.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Open Settings and tap Send me a copy of my data. You get a file with your account, solves and coin and gem history. For anything else about your data, see the Privacy Policy or email us.
My streak broke. Can I get it back?
Often, yes. An available streak freeze can cover a missed day. Otherwise, tap the broken streak banner in the app to repair a missed day within 48 hours. If you think a server problem broke it, contact support so we can investigate.
How do I block or report another player?
Tap the player's name on a leaderboard or in chat to open their profile, then tap Block or Report. Blocked players disappear from your lists. You can also email us their name or invite code. Include enough detail for us to investigate.
When do new puzzles appear?
Daily puzzles refresh at midnight in your time zone. Where available, use a game's calendar to play past puzzles.
Can I turn off analytics or ad measurement?
Gameplay and diagnostic analytics are part of the service acknowledged when accepting the terms. There is no separate in-app switch for these analytics. We rely on legitimate interests where permitted and obtain consent where required. To exercise applicable privacy rights, including objections, email support@pizzartgames.com. You can also request a copy of your data or erase your account in Settings. Open Privacy Preferences to control ad measurement by Singular; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it starts only if you allow it. In the United States that screen is called "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Data". On iPhone, you can also change Crux's tracking permission in the Settings app.
I am a parent. What does Crux do for younger players?
Crux asks for a birth month and year the first time it opens. Players under 13 get a restricted version with no chat, friends, leaderboards, notifications, purchases or ad measurement. To have your child's account deleted, email us with the account id if you have it. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I report a bug?
In the app, open Settings and tap Report a bug, or email us. Tell us the game, the date, and the steps that led to the problem, and add a screenshot if you can.
